This recipe was specially designed for Sahur during the Ramadan period: slow-releasing carbs will provide you with energy throughout the day while avoiding the dreaded afternoon slump.
1 cup plain yoghurt
1 serving of Heal Vanilla Almond
¼ cup rolled oats
¼ cup almonds, chopped
2 tbsp chia seeds
2-3 tbsp honey
Chopped/sliced fruits of your choice
1. Mix the yoghurt and protein powder in a bowl.
2. In another bowl, mix the oats, chopped almonds, chia seeds, and honey.
3. Place a few teaspoons of the oat mixture from step 2 at the bottom of a jar. Then add a few spoonfuls of the yoghurt mix from step 1. Top it with your chopped/sliced fruits. Repeat this process one more time.
4. Keep the parfaits in a fridge for at least 3 hours, or leave it overnight. A lovely breakfast meal awaits you the next morning.
